Library & Information Resource Centre
Introduction.
The Lirc is located on the 1st Floor of the Vining House, AVMCC. It is within reach of both young and old parishioners and other people as well. It is indeed a continuing education centre. The atmosphere is conducive for private learning and research. Praise and thanks be to God for the steady growth of the LIRC.It cannot be over emphasized that the LIRC enjoys the support of the members of the standing committee of the Cathedral.

Membership & Readership.
The membership is open to all members of the Diocese of Lagos West.Children and the Youth are particularly encouraged to use the LIRC. The Opening Hours make it a suitable place for children to do their homework, read for pleasure and study their Bibles with the aid of the Bible concordance and other scriptural tracts for spiritual growth.

LIRC Holding
The LIRC shack is a mixture of various disciplines, educational functions and on various aspects of spiritual growth. The collection totaled 970 volumes during the year under review.

Audio Visual Materials
The LIRC is a depository center for the videotapes of activities of the Cathedral and the Diocese.

Cataloging & Classification
Each items received in the LIRC is cataloged and classified . A public card catalogue has been established and is regularly updated for easy retrieval of materials. The materials are shelved in
accordance with the classification marks.

Services
The LIRC opens
Monday -- Friday 9am - 6pm
Saturday -- 10am - 2pm
Sunday -- 7am -3pm

References
The LIRC is a reference library . As at present it is not in a position to lend out books to patrons. The Evangelical Ministry of the Cathedral deposits its Bible tracks, other scriptural literature and information pamphlets in the LIRC for parishioners' use

Requests
The Cathedral Societies, Ministries etc should deposit their records in the LIRC for safe keeping and for posterity. This is necessary for the use of future historians to have accurate records of all the Cathedral activities. The video cassettes of their celebrations should be deposited in the LIRC
